Dance Works Dance Studio Bolton
Dance Works has now been established for 15 years, its creator Laura James has a team of Dance and Drama teachers to deliver the sessions along with herself still being the main choreographer. Dance Works was opened after Laura had completed her performing training at Phil Winston’s Theatre Works. She went on to take her Dance teaching Associates with the IDTA over the past 12 years.
Laura had always wanted to teach dance and after working in many primary and secondary schools she decided to further her career by opening Dance Works. She is now a fully qualified IDTA and UKA teacher in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street, Freestyle, and Cheerleading, as well as holding qualifications in fitness, ETM (exercise to music), Fitness Instructor, Body Attack, Body Pump, Zumba and the latest ‘CRAZE’ Trampoline fitness at Jump Nation Manchester.
Dance Works’ main aim is to create a safe and enjoyable environment where students can have fun and learn how exciting Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre can be. We strive to get the best out of all of our students by working hard towards IDTA and performing exams and in shows supporting charity events and our very own Dance Works show. Here at Dance Works we have an excellent 100% pass rate with the IDTA and we believe this is achieved by creating fun and interesting sessions for our students.
Many of our past students have gone on to further their career in dance and teaching. Dance Works -Dance Studio Bolton
